FILM CREDITS:

BIOGRAPHY

Following training in London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama, in Shakespeare and Contemporary Theatre, Chris embarked on an acting career which has provided him with leading roles in a diverse set of film genres and experience of working with highly regarded industry talent such as Benjamin Johns, Philip Andelman, and Helena Bonham Carter.

Chris's specialization in edgy, multi-faceted characters have won him feature film roles ranging from sympathetically-flawed antagonists to unapologetic villains. His credits include award-winning, independent, feature films, such as the contemporary romance 'The Maid', a sinister turn in the 19th Century period drama 'The Scandalous Four' (Christianne Van Wijk), and the lead role in the surreal thriller 'Gardenia' (Andrew J. Rutter).  His short film credits include lead roles in the realistic family drama 'The Retreat' (Michael Kofler) the quirky, gothic story 'Dreadful Bazaar' (by student Academy Awards® nominee, Alasdair Beckett-King) and the unsettling 'Personality Shop' (Pauls Kesteris). His most recent feature film engagement was the mystery comedy thriller, 'The Catch' (Ben Myers), currently in post-production.

Chris originally trained as a scientist, obtaining a doctorate from the University of Durham. He worked as a professional geoscientist and (as a PADI Scuba Diver Instructor and keen environmentalist) has taken part in conservation programs in Indonesia surveying coral reefs. He bases himself in North London and, when not acting, his artistic outlet is as a painter of landscapes.
